I’ll catch the moon one magic night

And put it in my pocket,

I’ll save it for one day I hear you sigh;

Then throw it to the heavens

And its shine will light your face

I’ll hold you close and kiss your cares goodbye.

I’ll be your knight in armor bright

Your picture in my locket,

I’ll cut down any dragon that comes by;

Then tame it so it was your slave

Your wish its sole command

Sworn to keep the tears out of your eye.

I’ll write a secret lover’s song

And send it in a rocket,

To Heaven and beyond my words will fly;

Then angel choirs will sing our love

I’ll vow unto them all

Before you’ll be unhappy I will die.

Come to me beneath the stars

My heart will hold a docket,

The blessing of the Love Gods I will buy;

I promise you’ll be happy

In our world of life and love
