I met a girl, her
smile outshone the moonlight,
we danced all
night, the waltz and tango drew me;
I walked her home,
and hoped to get my spoon right,
then kissed the
cherry lips she offered to me.
I floated home on
air, so sorely smitten
and dreamed of love
forever with my baby;
twas like a magic
apple I had bitten,
but I cared not for
words like why or maybe.
We dated several
times, I was enraptured,
and knew that I
would never love another;
this dainty
Cinderella had me captured,
and then she took
me home to meet her Mother.
My smile was wide,
a lamb unto the slaughter
expecting her to
welcome me politely;
but as I stood
there, arm around her daughter
she raised the
carving knife that glinted brightly.
I closed my eyes
and waited for the curtain,
and wondered if
they worked this foul deed often;
my life flashed
past, I knew one thing for certain:
these harpies
wouldn't bother with a coffin.
A Mother/daughter
team of blackened evil,
the siren hunts,
with carnal interacting;
Medusa waits at
home, a female Devil,
then both appease
their bloody Satan's pacting!
The seconds passed,
I wondered why they waited,
were they expecting
me to act the gallant?
so all the more
their blood lust could be sated,
I sobbed a tear:
such diabolic talent.
And then her Mother
spoke: "Are you awake, dear?"
I opened up my
eyes, my heart felt tainted;
"You sit right down
and have a piece of cake, hear?"
She cut the
chocolate log - that's when I fainted!
