LAZY

You'd like for me to play a game? I have no energy...

I'm really quite contented sitting here upon your knee;

Don't want to go outside, it's not the darkness that I fear,

I'd rather fall asleep beside you, breathing in your ear.

Some people call me lazy, but I don't care what they say,

What's wrong with lying round the house? I do it every day?

They're always on my case, informing me I eat too much,

And then you rub my belly...God! I love your tender touch!

I'm really rather happy lying here upon the bed,

You stroke me and my legs perform an automatic spread;

I really can't be bothered, you can see I'm very stressed,

But you can brush my hair or say you love me - be my guest!

I'd like to go out fishing, but I haven't got the time

Is not possessing energy a really heinous crime?

I know I lie around a lot, but where's the harm in that?

It's not as easy as it looks, when you're a Persian cat!
