SNOW PLOUGH

This children's poem is part of a series I'm writing. Transportation poems just for children.

I'm a snow plough, watch me go,

clearing all your roads of snow,

freezing winter, night and day,

look out snowdrifts - clear the way!

Snowflakes falling - Highway One,

snow plough's job has now begun,

see my driver jump inside,

watch me push that snow aside.

Roar and push with all my might,

leave behind a mound of white,

road now open, early morn,

drivers pass and blow their horn.

Summer's coming, time to play,

snow plough gets a holiday,

I'll be waiting for next year,

keeping all your roadways clear.
