STAY WITH ME

I know it's late, and you have to go

But can't we spend one more minute alone?

It's hard to watch you walk out the door,

Please, can't you stay just a few minutes more?

How could he know? How could he see?

No way to tell you've been here with me.

I know you're worried of what people say,

Couldn't you stay here, just for one day?

I'll give the love that you're longing to know,

I'll give you anything, please, just don't go.

How could he know? How could he see?

No way to tell you've been here with me.

It's been so lovely, here on our own,

Don't spoil the moment, don't leave for home,

Leave all your clothes lying there on the floor,

I know he wants you, but I want you more.

How could he know? How could he see?

No way to tell you've been here with me.

Don't leave me like this, I'll set you free,

I know you'd rather stay here with me.

You know I want you - eternity,

Don't make me force you to stay here with me...
